# Keep GPU credits for the people training models.

Credit-funded GPU time is the first thing miners go for. Many providers respond with card gates and no free GPUs. Ataris spots mining and abuse from the host instead, without an agent in the guest.

## No free GPUs is a growth decision, not a security one.

Blunt limits stop abuse by turning away the developers you want. Runtime detection lets you keep the offer.

### 1. Detect: Mining on GPU instances.

Performance counters and network flows show mining on GPU and CPU instances alike, including the pool connection.

Example (gpu-vm-12): pool = stratum :3333; account = credits, day 1.

### 2. Link: Credits to cards.

Cases join runtime evidence to the account's signup and billing data.

Example (gpu-vm-12 · account): credits used = 92%; card type = prepaid.

### 3. Decide: A person decides.

Report-only cases, so a researcher with an odd workload isn't banned by a rule.

Example (CASE #0431): automatic action = none.

## For GPU clouds.

Abuse detection that keeps your credits offer alive.

- **Abuse.** Seen from the host. cryptomining, scanning, egress abuse.
- **Account.** Joined from your data. credits, card type, signup time.
- **Deploy.** On GPU hosts. Helm or Linux package, no guest agent.
